Facilities

The park was named after John Moore who purchased Moore Mills (currently the Moore Mill lofts) and created a fabric company there around 1920. I seem to recall a stone configuration that may have come from the factory located around the corner on Washington Street and been placed at this location. The Mill was placed on the National Register of Historic places in 2020.
